That’s what’s going on here right now. And, I don’t mean the kind on top of the house. Ouch. Didn’t really have time for them right now, but this too shall pass.
Shingles…
Published by Wild Rose Quilter
I’m a simple woman…at least that what my DH (Dear Husband) used to say about me…I was a wife, I am now a widow, mother, step-mother & step-grandmother, quilter, and have a full time job in criminal justice. I lost my DH on May 22nd, 2011. I live in a small town in Texas. I love piecing quilts, I love quilting quilts. I have a serious addiction to fabric. I’ve been quilting since 1998, and purchased my first longarm, a Gammill Premier, in 2004. I upgraded to an A-1 Elite, named Corky, in March, 2007. I am in the process of rebuilding my life after losing my spouse. So sorry to hear you have shingles Randi. Make sure to go to the dr ASAP,they have an anti viral shot that can help to lessen the duration and severity of shingles, but you have to get it early on. I got the shot last year…make sure Efren gets it and you get it when you can, after this. Feel better soon!

They put me on acyclovir and it seems to have helped stop it from getting worse and spreading. Yay! Efren has never had chicken pox, so I was very concerned about him coming down with them now. I was very careful once I realized it wasn’t a heat rash from my intense elliptical workouts. 😱

I am so sorry you are hurting. I wish I could give you recovery advice but I have none so I will pray for your speedy recovery with the help of someone else.
