Good things come in these packages!
I ordered this cute Laurel Burch drawstring bag from Suzanne’s store, Knots & Bolts. I ordered it Saturday, and it was waiting for me on my front porch when I got home from work yesterday! That was fast!
I also ordered another marking pencil, and the fat quarter was a sweet surprise! Thanks, Suzanne!
Quilting news of the week is that Joanna’s quilt is coming along quite nicely!
My belated stash report for the week is mostly about what I didn’t buy! I figure that I saved $516.32 by sticking to my guns and not purchasing more stash right now. I allowed myself to shop a sale at an online fabric store I love, and put everything in my cart that I usually would have, but then emptied it all out after I got my total. There was some good stuff in there, too! Yay me! I’m close to having saved enough for a linen cabinet I’ve been wanting to buy from Plow and Hearth. 🙂
Wow, I love the bag Randi. The quilt looks great too. Way to go on saving all that money.

The quilt is looking good!!!! It’s so bright and cheery. It just looks like a good Spring & Summer quilt.
I don’t think I have the will power to shop and put it back. 😀 You have to be getting close to having the funds to start the kitchen soon!!!
I have kind of stalled out on the kitchen progress. I think mentally/emotionally I can only deal with one big project at at time, and I still haven’t gotten the living room all back together from painting it…lol. I can’t stand the thought of tearing something else apart, and right at the holidays.

The quilting looks wonderful. Is it freehand or a panto?
This one is Rosie panto by Jodie Beamish.

It looks fabulous! I was going to ask if that was another of your fantastic freehands but I see that has been asked and answered.
The bag is so cute!
And congrats on “not shopping.” I’ve been doing the same thing a lot lately myself. Right now there’s a great looking book sitting in a shopping cart online waiting for me to decide how badly I want it – and it’s even on sale for a great price!
