This report will be short & sweet, as I am still just so tired from the trip. I have been about as worthless as teets on a boar hog today. I have, however, managed to finish 13 of my required 29 inchies for the inchie swap on Machine Quilters Resource, organized by Carla. Inchies are tiny one inch quilts.

I’m a simple woman…at least that what my DH (Dear Husband) used to say about me…I was a wife, I am now a widow, mother, step-mother & step-grandmother, quilter, and have a full time job in criminal justice. I lost my DH on May 22nd, 2011. I live in a small town in Texas. I love piecing quilts, I love quilting quilts. I have a serious addiction to fabric. I’ve been quilting since 1998, and purchased my first longarm, a Gammill Premier, in 2004. I upgraded to an A-1 Elite, named Corky, in March, 2007. I am in the process of rebuilding my life after losing my spouse. All photos and content in this blog are my own, and I request that you not download, copy or otherwise use anything here without my permission. I hope you enjoy visiting my blog and would love to hear your comments. Thanks for stopping by!

Ummm it’ll last about as long as it takes you to pick up a quilting mag and see some beautiful new fabric ….. then you’ll start to drool ……. then you’ll get the shakes trying not to buy it …… then, BOOM!! You are done for.
Ask me how I know!

I’m starting to have buying withdrawal so I’m afraid that I’m going off the wagon soon. I was also exhausted today and only had energy for inchies. I only ahve 7 left to add beading too and that will be done. You can bet that it will take me until August 31 to get that last 7 done! LOL!

Hi Randi,
Thanks for the lovely comment you had left on my quilt – I appreciate it! 🙂
Actually, I haven’t been buying much fabrics lately either – I think that’s because I am working on deadlines instead of dreaming of new projects to do! 😉
Take care!

You keep putting snakes in your blog, and I won’t be back! How do you calculate your stashbusting. Just curious as my bolts are just as bad as your LOL.
