My son feels fabulous today…not even in pain. He’s just doing amazingly well. I flipped on Fons & Porter on PBS, as I was getting dressed this morning, and Marilyn Badger was on, and it was an episode I hadn’t seen. I love that they are doing some longarm episodes. So I quickly dressed and hopped on the Treadclimber while I watched. Boy did that workout fly by quickly, as I had something worthwhile to watch. After that, I decided to try on a pair of Nike windpants that I couldn’t wear two weeks ago, and they fit again! Yeehaw! Now, what to do with the rest of this fabulous day…..work on my EB quilts, or throw something on the longarm and play….hmmm…..
Off to a Great Start Today!

I’m a simple woman…at least that what my DH (Dear Husband) used to say about me…I was a wife, I am now a widow, mother, step-mother & step-grandmother, quilter, and have a full time job in criminal justice. I lost my DH on May 22nd, 2011. I live in a small town in Texas. I love piecing quilts, I love quilting quilts. I have a serious addiction to fabric. I’ve been quilting since 1998, and purchased my first longarm, a Gammill Premier, in 2004. I upgraded to an A-1 Elite, named Corky, in March, 2007. I am in the process of rebuilding my life after losing my spouse. Congratulations! I started exercising o a recumbent bike a few months ago and have almost lsot a pant size just from toning my muscles. it’s a great feeling, isn’t it?
Have a great day Randi!!
Glad he’s feeling so well. Randi, everytime I go through Hardy, a little town 7 miles from where I live, I see something that reminds me of you. At a antique store there is a star I think is like the one you have hanging in your house but it is a lot bigger. It must be 2 1/2 feet in diameter. As soon as I saw it I thought of you.
Glad to hear the dental patient is doing so well – they heal really fast at that age, don’t they?
I’ve met Marilyn Badger and she’s delightful. What doesn’t really come across on TV is how tiny she is – she can’t weigh more than 100 lbs. – and she’s absolutely gorgeous; perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect nails, and usually wearing some spectacular garment she dyed and sewed herself. I mean, you really want to hate this broad, but she’s too nice so you can’t, LOL!!! Hartley’s a sweetie too.
And WTG with the weightloss! Pretty soon you’ll need to go shopping for all new stuff.
